Thanks Kyle, for being so nice and not telling my age --- I Never Do! But I can tell you this, I have you all beat! I have seven grandchildren, the oldest being 20 and the youngest is 5. My oldest daughter just turned 41 and my youngest daughter was just 37. My anniversary is Saturday, 44 years on the 13th.
By the way, thanks to all you dinkers for keeping me going. I haven't posted much in a long while, but I do check the board each night. I have been busy with a major move to a new home and taking care of my husband who has been very ill. I have played all of the new games and enjoy each one of them. I can't believe how the dink world has grown since I started playing almost three years ago. Keep up the good work all of you programers, your doing a fantastic job! By the way Kyle, I need a game to beta test, where is it?

I'm pretty old for a dinker.(compared to others) I will be 19 on the 15th. I actually started dinking around when it came on a demo disk with a PCgamer magazine. From that point on I was hooked. I didn't get really involved until about a week ago. Before I'd download here and there, and that was pretty much it. Now I'm creating my own dmod and everything. (with the help of christiaan).

I wouldn't care, i'm just curious, but i know SOME people who think that only 'kids' should play dink. (i don't agree with them btw)

i have to say that those people would have to have something SERIOUSLY wrong with them to think ANYONE'S too old to play dink.
I'm only 16 myself, it seems most people on here are around that age.
I always thought people on here would have been a bit older than they appear to be, don't know why, I just did! :o

Naw, I have been playing Dink just a bout a year now. I my be 50, but I am still learning and Dink is new to me. I really admire all the dmod makers, it dosen't make sense to me. Making the game that is, I just play them. LOL

Anyway, I guess I'm one of the youngest non newbies so far at 13, soon to be 14.
I don't post many messages (mostly because I don't have many answers) but I do check the board fairly often. I had to respond to this one so the "older set" is appropriately represented.
I turned 40 this year after dinking for over a year and I am still addicted to it. I share every dinker's hunger for great new dmods, and I haven't been dissapointed--some great new stuff and it's always something different.
As a matter of fact, I never did much with gaming before Dink. But earlier this year when there was a shortage of dmods, I bought the original Diablo and enjoyed it for awhile, but soon grew weary of it. On the other hand, Dink always has something new to offer--THANKS TO ALL THE DINK AUTHORS OUT THERE!! :o

My son is 3, almost 4 years old, he walks while I fight, or I walk while he fights. I let him decide where to go, even if it is wrong. He probably wins as youngest! We both love Dink. I am 37. My other son is 15 now. He showed me Dink when he was 12. He can't believe I am still playing.

I started my brother and sister off young. My sister(12) now hates most games. (even dink)I think I was too harsh. My brother(7) however, loves games, probably because he really looks up to me. I've been trying to get my little brother to play, he would if I ever got off the computer!!!

I agree. Some people are so serious, that others think them older. If you know how to have fun, then you'll never age! that's the key to eternal youth.
