FIAT herb boots

After wandering around the 2nd island in vain trying to get past the heavy winds, I finally checked the walk through and found out the man in the lone house was supposed to give me a task. Trouble is, he doesn't want to talk to me. Never has a word to say. Did I do something out of sequence? Anyway to get around this? I want to keep playing but if you tell me I have to start over from the beginning, I'll probably just cry and go to bed.

You can allways try finding the herbs under his bench without talking to him first. that may help. good luck. i hope redink1 finds your message, so he can fix the bug in the next version. :)

ya well u might just have to go to bed after crying...u need those herb boots to get in to the house on the other side, and once u do that, then u need those boots to fight the air boss as well.

So, if u have not saved, tough luck pal. But, if u believe in cheating, u can use the cheat code and increse ur speed to get past these hurdles.

Sorry aboutnot being much help.

Can you use the cheat program in this Dmod? I assumed it wouldn't work since the "C" key is already in use.

You can if you rename key-67.c to key-84.c (T). But, I recommend not cheating unless you're really, really stuck fighting some hard monsters and you just can't get past them. It usually isn't worth the hassle.

Redink, thanks. You know, I would never normally cheat but I ran into a bug and can't get my hands on the herb boots and this is my only resort (besides starting over from scratch)

Hmm... do you have Patch I installed?
