Everyone Sees The Same Except Dinkedit Loading Screen As You Do.
When Dinkedit was first created, it was probably only meant as a Tile editor. Then it was beefed up in someway, so Seth crossed out Tile and replaced it with Uber. Uber means Super, pretty much. So instead of the old Tile Editor, it is a Super Editor. It could say "Cow Poop Editor" and it would still work exactly the same.
Dunno about your LOT problem.
