Fiat freazeing...help!

In fiat, when your on the island when it's rain, in the house with the book shelf that has a book that's titled "Torture for dummies" in the basement when someone says help sir, an evil man is after me!, then the game just stops and does nothing.Is this supposed to happen, or is this a bug or something like that.
