FIAT: Last castle/dungeon help needed!

I am in the castle/dungeon. I have moved the little statues and re-killed the bosses. Now I am in the maze/catacombs area. Where is the end? I have tried every weapon I have on the statue head in the south-western most corner to no avail. Is there another place to finish the game? TIA!

The statue head will disappear when you defeat all the bosses again. Try moving the other statues again. you must have missed one.

i remember that i missed one combination. i went systematically through all of them (i thought). i think it was this (the x-es are the heads):
