what is the point with the dink pallette?

Dink will read other colors and show them it a close equal but I'm curious if that uses any resourses or slows loading. ( Oh ya, I found paint shop pro 7 on //kickme.to/fosi  )

First of all, you could just ignore the palette, but it can cause the graphics to look a little strange when loaded in Dink. On thing you could do is load an existing Dink Graphic and save it as a new name. Since you're starting with an image in the right palette, your new image will be too. You will probably find it annoying however because you won't be drawing in the color you select, but the closest Dink color instead.



If you intend to do a lot of graphics, you should look for a better program.
It's for use with only 256 colors...
