Hi :)

Just trying to find sites for Dmods. I have tried some sites and the links just don't work or don't download. Any help would be appreciated.

Im getting msgs of corrupt files and incomplete files :( please someone help.

3ddownloads was the toughest to get a file from,...it took me four days (nearly four hours each day,...varying times of day from noon to midnight) just to get Prophecies of the Ancients... Frustrating,...but just follow the links provided right here in the dink network,...you won't find better trust me,..I"ve had a MONTH to research this game at eight hours a day,...and this IS the place to be. (twenty one sites,...some fan pages with nothing but reviews, to members offering their own mods,...)

Only one had functioning links to downloads, and you're posting and reading in it right this minute.

Sorry,...I really was after the more obsure DMODS myself, and I just can't find them at all,...

GAMESHIPPO.COM states DINK as having some twenty thousand downloads,...so few real MOD makers...

I just got the game on valentine's day 2002 so it's gonna be a while before I get the hang of making my own DMODS (by the time I do the game will hopefully still have it's cult following though, and I plan to have a few truly EPIC mods released)

For a hint on the DMODS I am planning on,...just read the WHEEL OF TIME series by Robert Jordan,...

(NINE books, at no less than twelve hundred pages each). I anticipate most dink fans to grow weary with waiting for my releases since I've just started learning. (I do plan on a few "mini" mods

that reflect my ideas without passing the curse of the "unfinished Demo" we all see here so often since the early 90's... they will be complete,..but not whole,....more like adventures in "training" prior to the real release of T.W.O.T...I would dearly like to make each "dink" able to carry over attributes from the mini mods (quests by standard) from one mod to the next but this is truly a most ambitious "quest" in itself, and I'm an enlisted man,...so who can say when these things will ever come to fruition, yes?

We shall see what the next two years brings us!

I was thinking of shareing all the dink stuff I have on the morphius/kazza network.(it's like napster) If a lot of us do that , it will become very easy to get everything.

That'd be a dang cool idea. However, you need to make sure that you can find them all really easy... like rename them all so they start with dink_smallwood_ or whatever, then doing a search would bring them up real quick.

I don't have much on disk but I'll share what I can. Keyword Dink, Dmod, games. If nothing lists let me know and I'll reconfigure.
