:(
When I apply Dink's pallete to a screenshot the white and black seem to be inverted. In other words, the shadows appear white!! All the other colors transfer just fine. Yes, I'm choosing "Maintain indexes"...
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Another thing, PSPv7 has a really cool screen capture feature that allows you to specify whether you want to capture the entire screen, just the active window, show/not show the cursor, take multiple shots, ect... unfortunately, when ever I try to do this with Dink, it crashes PSP!! It seems to work fine with any other program...
Any thoughts on that?
If you just want to have a nice screenshot, you can download gimp. (SimonK suggested quit a long time ago.) It has a nice function to grab screenshot from a window or a full screen. Be sure to download windows version. Gimp was originally written for Linux OS.
Since Dink has a special engine and is not a Windows application, it won't capture any screens. There's only one programme I know that can do this and that's Hypersnap DX. You can download a free trial version of it so give it a try, it works perfectly.

I'd like to know how to 'maintain indexes' in Adobe Photoshop 6.0!
Open a Dink original graphic and save the colour table. Then you can load that when you need to.

Have you tried Adobe.com? If I remember correctly, they have great Q&A forums for all their products...
