Title Screen
After editing the title-01.bmp, I assumed it would come up at the beginning of the dmod.......       Never assume, right!!!

I checked some other dmod's and it looks like it's just called up like a sprite.  Dinkedit some other dmods and, lo and behold.  They're in position 453 in the sprite menu.  Look into mine - no sprite - no position 453!!, it goes from 452 to 456.  I can't find it in any position of my sprite cache.

Is there something else I was suppose to do with the .bmp when I edited it?  It's the same one that was in the development menu, I just added some text to the bottom of it.  How do I get it to come up as a sprite?  It's in the 'Graphics' dir.

Thanks,      SK

There may be multiple problems here but I'll try to explain the most likely.

Have you inserted the correct lines in the Dink.ini file? Check this first.

Second of all, your title-01.bmp must be at the exact same place as in the original Dink, unless you change it in Dink.ini.

Hope I'm not wrong again.

Thanks for the reply, but I think I need something a little more specific.

What am I looking for in the Dink.ini, exactly?  It's the one I copied from the develop dir.  I have not editted it directly.

When I copied across the 'develop' directories, I made a graphics dir.  The title-01.bmp is in the graphics dir, not under anything else;    C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood\trial\graphics\title-01.bmp

thanks for your help - really appreciate it.  SK

Yeah, It's propably caused by that Wc just explained. If the title-01 is same in the dink.ini, and it still doesn't work, i suggest you to copy a dink_ini load, or creation, or whatever it is called, that works , and then paste it on your title-load! (It should work, or then you might have some bigger problems in your mod.. I know from experience. ;) )
