FIAT keeps crashing at a certain point, and a question about editing maps..
First the map q:

How do I actually copy a couple of map screens from another dmod to another?

I think DinkEdit tells me something like "press the button M (or some other key, don't remember)" but I didn't much understand it. Anyone?

And then for FIAT..

I got out of the broken house with the fireplace, got to a fire warp place and to a labyrint.

When I take the path to right and then down, I come to a screen where there are.. I think 3 possible depths where you can walk, and I'm on the highest bridge.

Walk one more screen down - end of the bridge. Back up, and when i try to go another screen up, FIAT crashes.

It's not even enough that it'd kick me back to windows, it totally shuts my pc. I'll have to restart.

Happened 2 times by now. Redink1, do something, it's not very amusing anymore.. ;)

(I know I can tell you this another way, I just want to show this to more people ;) )

Why not use WinDinkEdit? It's feature for this works totally great!

Hmm, I haven't had any reports of crashes in the air dungeon before.  It does a lot of odd things at once, so I'm not sure why it crashes.  I might look into it, though.

In Dinkedit, in the mode where you can see all the purple and red tiles, move the cursor over the map# you wish to change.  Now press L.  Enter in the line c:\program files\dink smallwood\name of d-mod where the map you want is\.

Don't forget the trailing backslash.

Press enter.  Now that map will show up, move the cursor to the map# you wish to import and press enter.  Tahdah...

Warning... I experienced some problems with this.

If you try to press space(to get the "map" view) once you've imported new map#s, Dinkedit might crash.

OK, thanks. I'll try it. :)
