If you go up there, and nothing is happening, then you may have some things you must do first before you go.

When the time is right, you will see things happening up there, and you will be able to figure out what to do. Make sure you have talked to everyone, there must be something you have not done if nothing is in the woods when you go.

I didn't know for sure lol but assumed that the question was about the original game, where you get that spell to pass thru the magic field to go up in the woods. If it's not that, I've no clue and have probably steered the poor Dinker the wrong way :o
