Problem is I killed him from across a gap in the maze and of course when I went off that screen, it was gone. Now I've been back to every dungeon and killed every monster several times over but I don't see another Gimacs sword. It's the only thing I need to get an ultimate weapon before I go fight the Big Bad so the question is....Was that my only chance !!?? Will it reappear sometime in this life or have I blown it for the ultimate weapon??
: I do not intend on going back to a really old save game, I've been at this darn thing for a long time now. Don't get me wrong, great DMOD but damn tough to get through.

Guess what I've got, swords of all elements plus Gimacs sword and while trying to find the Sneedees sword, they give me a Sneedees' bow. fustrating really.

I've got the same problem with Snedfee's sword. I've been round and round killing baddies and I find bombs, potions and axes, but all I need is Sneedfees sword....AARGH!.
It's supposed to be random, according to earlier posts, so I am still trying. Just getting aggravated.
I agree that it's a great DMod. Very engaging, but hard to get thru. That's why it's nice to have this community--everyone helps.

you may get the same weapon an unlimited number of times. there is a well in odvi where you may get unlimited gold and weapons. just save when its golden (i mean when it sends out much light), then take the content and save again. load the game you saved the last time and it will be golden again. you may repeat this an unlimited number of times. i found many weapons this way, and have 30000 gold. one time i did this a lot of times and suddenly i was in the dance challenge! i just loaded the last game and then i was back to the well, and it was golden again.
