AGAE: need help please

I have met and lost badly to the boss at the end of the dungeon. I saved my game before entering the dungeon and realize that I need to do some more things before I have a chance to defeat him. I went back to my saved game but cant get back to the main thoroughfare of the game. Can someone please help. Thanks.

You have taken the warp over to it? You are right, I did not find a way back after warping. So I had to go back to a save before warping to finish the parts on the lower map.
