FIAT: Flute/Whistle Help

On the island where it is raining, where is the flute/whistle?  I checked trees all over the place, but couldn't find a thing.  I've got the knight out of the way and I assume I need the flute in order to continue.  I went thru that maze to the south and assume the flute is needed in order to, say, build a bridge?  Thanx!

The flute is on the southern half of Rai (i.e. the island with a lot more trees than the others).
