Umm... I think I better say this real quite so the thugs at telefragged don't get rid of my ungrateful rump and this entire site with it, but have you thought about getting a new host? I get the bad feeling that 3-d downloads is going under...

Yeah, thought about it, but haven't really found anywhere to actually go. Plus, 3ddownloads seems to be getting better, as unbelievable as that sounds. The New York server seems to be working (partially) again. Before you couldn't even ping it or anything.

Anyway, I'm slowly mirroring most of the files on the site to little accounts. So far I have one account filled up, and that mirrors just about everything back to July of last year.

I can't figure out how to put ads on CGI scripts... so for CGI-based parts of the site (databases, this board, story, and most of the site) there aren't any ads.

Wait, you aren't getting payed for this site, right? Assuming that to be true, I'm suprised that telefragged is not filled with insane rage.

Nope, I'm not paid a single penny for running the site. Eh, telefragged only requires ads to be on the front main page, everything after that is completely optional. And their ad system doesn't want to tango with CGI scripts, so its their own fault.
