Stuck at the 4 pillars

I just started playing the original Dink. But, everytime I finish killing the leader of the dead dragon cult I get stuck in the screen. I can't get Dink to find the path that he used to get in. Is this a bug? Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?
