SOB  story 6 need help with Crusty quest

Ok...so I've talked to everyone about the scorpions....but when I go kill them nothing happens. I'm guessing it has something to do with the healers empty bottle..but how do I get it? Tried talk/examine and get "Hmmmm..an empty potion bottle" Try hitting it and get the msg that its 'unbreakable'

Hope someone has an answer otherwise it's back to exterminator :(

I know that feeling lol :) It's been awhile, and there is probably a walkthru on Dinksmallwood Solutions website, but I will try to help if I can.

Have you talked with the guy not in town but close it it? He is usually very helpful. I think I recall going north and west. There is a particular scorpian that you are looking for.

The walkthrough isn't giving me any help... Neither is the wizard in the NW hut, hejust tells me to kill them as quick as I can) I keep killing the scorpions and doing anything I can think of (including arming the stone fragments) to get something. Doesn't work..so I reload a previous game (before I talked to crusty)...so far nada....sigh :(

This is weird. What version of SOB do you have? Check the info in dmod.diz file if you front end doesn't display it. Email me your saved game if you want and I'll look at it.

first..Eso..thanks for the help :)

Simon...gonna let out a big scream here soon...I inadvertly saved over the game I had before I talked to Crusty....do you want that file or should I play up to before I talk to her and then email you that file?
