Points system and who are the top 5 in most points

Who actally has the most points in the Dink Network. I have a feeling it's Redink1 the webmaster of the Dink Network. Also who has the 2nd most points, 3rd most points, 4th most points, and 5th most points.

I am very surprised with the top ten. Redink you deserve to be #1 but I thought Simon would be top 5. Oh well the top ten is the best of Dink.

Remember, its all due to a formula based on what that user created. I just tweaked the settings so the focus was taken off of reviews a couple minutes ago, and more changes will probably be made.

Now I have over 200 points :)

Hehe. I'm afraid not, but they can be earned by writing reviews (one point per review) or by releasing a Dink Smallwood-related file (such as a D-Mod :))

What do you mean by what the user created. The reviews and downloads should tell you what everyone likes. Granted there are dmods that have been around for a long time but we do know which ones are better. If it takes 1hr to do a dmod I will not rank that one very high but if it takes 24hrs and a few days in between I like it.

Right now, points are based soley on what reviews you wrote, what files you contributed, and dotm/doty awards. Average scores don't play a factor in points yet, mostly because there are a heck of a lot of files that don't have reviews.

You are judging too many things dealing with a dmod. The game is just supposed to be fun and challenging. I realise it takes a lot of work too produce these dmods and thank the lord I am a network admin guy and not a programmer. I can't imagine the hours it takes to write and test your dmod. Bottom line is it has to take hours to finish and it has to be a challenge. Fiat, Sob, Friends Beyond, POTA and all others I missed were challenges. YeeHaa to all you programmers. Keep up the good work and I will keep playing.

Cool I'm part of the top 10. I just need to post 1 more review to beat Sharp and take 9th place. I still think reviews should be worth more than 1 point. At least a good review should be worth 2 or 3 points.

Go figure, Reddink1 is in first place.

You could review 9 gems 1 ofcourse :) Dont mind with 9 gems 2 tough cause there's a big remake coming soon.

Yeah, but keep in mind that creating Dmods goes about the quality not the quantity :o.
