Quick question. Did the resistance give you money? If you picked the right option, they should give you money after you went through castle viel.
Here is what you have to do after you went through castle viel:
- the necklace you got in viel is useful later on.
- Did you get Jone's daughter's necklace. If you didn't it's east of Gem (not too far though). It should be a shining thingy. Give that to Jone's daughter(you get points so you get a good ending) instead of the girl (she's mean and expert fruit is useless and you get no points) from the town where the resisitance is.
- If you did all that then buy as many potions as possible.
- Then go back to viel and enter the castle again. There should be another door to your left. Once down, make your way towards the stairs. Go down, and explore that floor a bit and eventually you'll find the boss.
