AGAE...why wont u pls help me?

at vaulthill...or sunny beach or some such place, there is this guy whose signboard reads " the worlds best healer " has these creatures, even if u hit them with a light sword, they show one HP...per hit...hellfire does not work on them...and they are so strong...i have hit them more than 200 times and still they do not die....what is the catch,, eventually i used cheat to get rid of them...have i missed someething out here?

So far, I have not needed to kill those creatures to advance the plot. If they are needed, it would be towards the end.
