End of Dink... or I mean End of Time
Did anyone find the secret spell for the Axe redink1 mentioned in DN's news comment? I can't.

Right now I don't know how I would review EOT2 if I write one. Redink1 once claimed EOT2 was his best dmod ever. I don't know...

One possible bug in EOT2, but it does not matter and probably cannot be fixed. Most of those little bugs on the way to the "Control Room" would not leave dead corpora behind, but some of them do. I believe redink1 was intended to leave dead images, but Dink engine does not like to create too many sprites on screen.
Re: End of Dink... or I mean End of Time
As for the 'End of Dink' subject, if anyone seriously thinks that Dink isn't going to come back in some way, duh.  Duh duh duh.

Dink will revive or something will happen so he returns.  He might look a tad different... but he will be back in some form (perhaps not playable, though) in Hidthspace Revolution.

There are 3 spells.  They are all available at the same exact point in the game, and you need to have enough gold to view which ones you can buy.

As for reviewing EOT2, review it as you would any other D-Mod.  It deserves no special treatment.  And like I've said before (I think), I am an awful judge of my own work, so what I think is my greatest D-Mod is probably not in everyone else's opinion.

As for the bugs on the way to Miasma, yes they were supposed to leave corpses behind, but for some reason it wouldn't work every time, and I don't think it had to do with the sprite limit (the corpses were created as 'dead' sprites that don't count for the sprite limit, like blood splatters and so on).

In fact, there are 4 spells. You left out herb boot again. :p And maybe you should make a new icon for invincibility magic, too.

I was not saying EOT2 needs a special treatment upon reviewing because redink1 said this is his best dmod ever. EOT2 is different. Very different. It's short without a real endboss. But unlike most short dmods, it really has something there. It has an epic frame and it's part of a triology. However to me it seems it's too short to connect 2 behemoths (FIAT and HR). The most unsettling feeling is "Are we going to wait another 2 or even more years to see the fate of Dink and King Daniel?"... ;)

Four spells?  Jeez, I keep on surprising myself.  My guess is herb boot, acid rain, fire ball, and invincibility, right?

Bah.  Think of how LOTR Movie fans feel.

As for its short-ness... it isn't that short.  It accomplishes what is has to, without wasting too much time.  I mean, sure, I could have added tons of quests to do, but it just didn't feel right.  Plus, EOT1 was shorter, and people liked that quite a bit (probably my only D-Mod I've gotten consistent praise on in my e-mail).

And who said HR was going to be a behemoth?  It could turn out shorter than EOT2, or longer than all D-Mods combined.  It hasn't been decided at all.

At least the bugs were little...I had horrible images of *slayers*, btw why didn't the little bugs die and not return??  Or was that to add to the hardness (i.e. mixed-up feeling) of the game?
