mana potions

quick question...when i was talking to the wizard that makes mana potions, i accidentally spaced through what he said the potions do other than fill your magic to the max.  am i missing anything important?

It makes the next spell more powerfull if you use it when you have full mana.  You know how hellfire is?  All the spells are like that.
