: This an "almost" Dink related question. All the downloads from this site,or almost all, redirect to 3ddownloads. But NOTHING ever works on that site... Is there anywhere else to get the files from or do I have to do without :(
It has worked every time I have tried for me, heres how:
When you attemp to download the file, continuce like normal, and when it shows an unkorking ftp page, chage the ftp address to "not" include the d-mods name. You then have to click cancel on the login screen, and then you have to wait a few moments for the files to show up, then to download any d-mod from the dink network, you just right click on the file name, and select copy to folder, select your folder, and then begin. It looks like it donsen't download but it actually is. The download bar is not a good mesaure of the amount of the download compleated.
It has never failed for me, and it always works on the first try.

It is always like this
ftp://ftp.3ddownloads.com/18717/telefragged/dink/dmods/
where the 18717 is a number that is increased by randome amounts through out the day, on a quadra-hourly basis (As far as I can tell). So if I gave you the ftp address, it would be obsolet by the next time you had to use it.

There are several mirrors you can download files from, but not all files are mirrored.
And as for 3ddownloads... New York and Finland are completely down, whereas Texas is up. Texas only supports 50 connections at one time, though, so you'll have to retry numerous times to successfully download a file from there.
