I don't see anyone else having a problem with the Dink patch to 1.0.7 (?) or whatever, so maybe that isn't what's going wrong here, and same goes for the dmods after FIAT so I guess that's not it either, but I cannot play any dmod or the original Dink. When it starts, if there is a part where he is talking to someone, the words flash on the screen so fast you can't read them. And then he just goes crazy punching and going up and down stairs or running around. I can't get out of the game, I have to reboot. I have tried uninstalling the patch, then I tried reinstalling Dink, then uninstalling and reinstalling Dink, but nothing seems to work. This has never happened before and I have played most of the dmods. (I'm running Win98, 900mhz processor, Voodoo3 3500.) If anyone has any ideas of what to try next, please let me know. This is driving me nutso ;(

Sounds kinda crazy, I agree. As for what I would do? I'm not much of a techy, so I would get rid of it all together, being sure to secure all dnods elsewhere first. Than simply download 1.06 again, available at many places listed at RTSoft. Granted, this may be extreme, but your problems seem to stem from the instalation of the .07 patch. For what its worth, I don't think I ever had any problems with 1.06 anyways... Good luck
I did get rid of all of Dink, re-downloaded it and reinstalled the new download without installing the new patch. No luck. :(

Maybe thats just the intro srceen? Or does it continue on forever?
The intro goes through, and it is when the game comes up he is going nuts and I have no control over anything and have to reboot my computer. Hitting escape IF it brings up anything, whatever flashes on the screen real quick. Dink just keeps on going like a little f******g energizer bunny.

After messing around and trying to figure this out I finally gave up and tried playing Quake with my new gamepad. Same problem. Checked the calibration (again!) and it all SEEMS fine, but the piece of s**t sucks. Lesson learned: don't buy a cheap gamepad (ProPad6). I'm going to go scream now ;(
