How do I get to the catacombs under the church in the very beginning of the game? How do I get some money also.

u need to keep getting lead converted into gold...about 270 gold coins can be had that way.
Then, in the motel, go talk to the guy in the top floor, and ask him for ways to make a few coins, he will suggest something to u...find that, do what he tells u, and u r thru...when u have enough gold, go talk to the priest in the church...he will allow u to go into the catacombs

before you can talk with the man in the motel you must build a fence. remember to carry beer and a bomb when you go down under the stone. when you get 200 gold from the motel you must buy a long sword to access the catacombs. they are under the fountain (you must push it away). there you should find the key. i have not
