ok i dont know how many people have started on this game yet but. . . ive gotten to the guy hording all those bombs and i know where the apple tree is and i cant do anything to it, talk to it, hit it, nothing. . . help is appreciated;)

I don't know what I did. I punched the tree with fist and sword, and also talked to the tree. Yes, nothing happened. BUT when I went back to that guy, he just sold me the bomb without asking apple?! (I did ask the guy in weapon store about his bomb.)

I did warp across the river to hit the nut tree and pick up some nuts. (I can still sell them for $2.) It might have messed up something and change the variable with it. I don't know.

I forgot that Dink doesn't like special characters (like the TM sign) to be in .d files. This will be fixed later today.

That makes 2 of us. I tried everything, and looked everywhere else. I also went back to the guy, but when I tell him I HAVE the apple, the game freezes; every time. 1 more thing: the cave with the bonca's doesn't either. And you can't kill e'm! HELP, I think we need a patch here;(

I've got the same problem with the apple, but in the bonca cave, there is something you can do. Try a little cross country trekking. Avoid those nasty boncas.

Me too! Can't kill the boncas in the cave and can't find the apple and when I go back to the guy saying I have an apple game freezes for me too.

Either everyone is missing the point somehow, or the mod just needed an extra couple weeks production and testing time. It's only one month after its companion mod, and I'm sure Redink spent more time fixing up FIAT(I'm not sure, and I can't speak for him, but it's likely IMHO that he did spend more time on FIAT).
