: : : : I just downloaded the free version of Dink, and immediately ran into a problem--it seems that there's a constant directional input of up-left on top of whatever button I press or mouse input I give. I can maneuver the mouse over the Start option on the main screen, with some difficulty, but on starting the game Dink gets stuck in the upper-left corner of his room and there's no way I can get him out. Has anyone run into anything like this before? Any fixes? I hope so, cuz it looks like a good game... Thanks.
: : : If you have a gamepad or joystick plugged into your computer, try centering it (by pressing all possible directions before loading up Dink) or unplugging it. Good luck.
: : And if you are using a keybord, smash the offending button directions untill they become unstuck if they are stuck.
: Thanks for trying, guys... but no stuck keys, and I'm not using a joystick or gamepad. And this doesn't happen on any other game. If this hasn't happened to anyone else, it's probably just some weird anomaly with my specific computer. Oh well--if any other ideas come to you, let me know.
It doesn't matter if you use the gamepad at all... if its plugged in, it will mess up the game. I had a friend who had a gamepad plugged in (messing up the game), and he didn't even know he had a gamepad (it was hidden in the wires behind his computer)
