FIAT-beginning help/bug?

Heyo,

I've just got past the trees by blowing them up.

(just started playing).The house to the east (where the wind blows u back),after u enter the hole in the ground u find a couple of sticks and beans.But then when u go up the stairs - u can't!!

What's up?

Stairs thing just shows what the upstairs looks like.  Find 3 sticks and talk to the fireplace a couple times.  Eat the beans, and Dink gets an idea.
