brand new - need some help

I am brand new to the Dink world. And I can't kill the beast in the cave (you know the one the wizard tells you to slay?)

I have tried to hit and run away but he keeps killing me. And, I can't get the game to save. I found the save machine but how do I make it save? Obviously running into it doesn't work!

The only thing you can do to kill the monster in the cave is hit and run techniques... you might want to level up your character and increase your strength of defense by killing smaller creatures around the map.

To use the save machine, talk to it.

And, a very important thing.. :)

Never, never ever run off the screen when killing a monster. It'll get all it's hitpoints back. :)

Thanks! It worked! Now if I could just figure out how to kill that mean old uncle in Terris!
