Can't find swords, axes, and what's with the duck machine?

I guess I need to be told how to find the Snedfee and Gimac's weapons--have checked every well and it's too late to go back down to the fire maze (in a previously saved game, I did find a bow in one of those wells, but I'm not going back 5 levels for it). I do have one fire axe.

And, is there a purpose for the duck machine on Rife? I've walked around and talked to everyone as a duck, and there doesn't seem to be a purpose for it, unless I learn something in odvi, which I haven't ventured too far in yet.

But please help me with finding those weapons! Thanks

The only place I know of to get theGimac and Snedfee weapons is in the void level. Stone giants and slayers will cough them up---eventually! It takes quiet a while, but hey--look at all the kill points you rack up!

its not too late to go to the fire dungeon. the exit is were the boss was. i have found many special weapons in a well near the save machine in odvi. if you save while the well is golden, then talk to it then save and load the game the well will be full again! i found 3 weapons this way (gimac and snedfee weapons) if you use the duck machine you may walk down in the duck cave again, i dont know why, but i think there is a secret after the game is completed.
