Drognu..  Kinda stuck..

Hmm, ok.. So, I'm in Drognu. I figured out how to get into the fence with a great bit of dumb luck. But, now, I can't figure out what to do there. I've talked to everyone.. Gossip is about all I can do, really. Except for that guy in the empty house (save for a little fence). He talks about the time Dink killed those ducks. x_x Anyhow, I'm stuck. I can't get anywhere. Any tips on what I should do next? I know I'm supposed to do something with that tree (at least, I think so).. But, I have no idea what. And, I can't find anything that will unlock new talk options with the people there. Help?

go "talk" to the rock in the southwest corner of the area you can go...
