general Question @ Patches

Hi, I Am new to Dink, and have just downloaded the game, ver. 1.06. I keep reading @ patches, and fixes and don't know which ones i need. Can anyone tell me where to find out?

Good question. I've been playing for years, and I can't figure it out. If there any comments attached to the patch, then read those before downloading.

If I'm guessing correctly, you're reading about FIAT patches, right? If so, FIAT is a separate d-mod from the original Dink game, just so that you know. I had that problem when I started, too. I thought FIAT was a totally different format of game or something, 'cause it was in almost every post. ;) Silly me. Anyhow, if you need any more help with knowing what FIAT is and where to get it, just let me know. And, I don't know about any patches for Dink, itself. Save for the one that upgrades it to 1.07. (If that's even a patch.) But, I beat the game without it, so it's really not necessary to the game. :)

Thank You, I didn't realize that "FIAT" was a d-mod- So what is it? And where can I get some basic information # the D-Mod'; what they are and how they work???

Hehehehe.. You're welcome. FIAT is like an alternate name for the d-mod that everyone's taken to calling it. The full title, I think, is Dink Dimensions, FIAT v0.99 .. Or something similar. You can find it on the d-mods page. Good luck! =)

DMODs are add-ons to the original Dink Game. You use a Front-End Player (One should have come with the freeware version of Dink) to play the DMODs. These new adventures can be found at the Dink Network. Click on the link on the left had side of the page.

now there is a walkthrough for fiat available here, under dmods (it includes descriptions of secrets etc.):
