Loading part of a screen

hi



is it possible to show just a part of some screen(like a few tiles(along with watever sprites mite be there))

for example, wat if dink was to have a new spell to get a 'preview' of some screen that he is not on at that time. can that be done? if so, how?

You could create a big black sprite and put it on top of everything :)  Then you wouldn't be able to see any sprites or tiles, and you can show as much as you want.  If you were previewing the screen, you would actualy need to warp dink to the screen, so maybe stick him in the black so it looks like he's not there, or something like that.
