Dink Help

I am new at this game stuff...how do you get Dink to pick up pig food, feed the pigs, etc. I must be really dumb because I can't figure out how to get him to do much more than walk, talk and kick. Thanks

The pig food is kind of confusing, in deed. The sack of pig food looks like a stone which you can find inside your house. Just walk through it and you can pick it up. Then you can "arm" the pig food by

pressing "Enter" (go to the choice menu)

and using arrow key to move the selecting square to the pig food

and then pressing "Ctrl" to arm with pig food

(This is the same procedure for you to arm a sword or a magic spell once you have them available.)

Then go to north of your house, you can see your pigs. With pig food armed, you can spread the pig food simply by pressing "Ctrl" key.

Pig farming is more difficult than killing badies. No wonder Dink wants to become an adventurer. :)

: Nah, it's a common source of confusion. The pig food is the bag in the house, not the one outside

i think to pick up the bag of food, you just kinda walk over it, and to use things that you have picked up, press enter, then use the arrows to select what you want. press ctrl to put that item in your hand, and press enter again. you can then use whatever is in your hand by pressing the ctrl key.

yeah, and the magic's work with Shift (unless you've already noticed :))

That HAD to be told. in some of these posts it said that "items work like this, pick it from the screen blah blah etc etc.. and the same for magic" ;)

So OF COURSE I had to correct this.

(or then it never said so, and i read wrong)
