Can't figure it out------

For the life of me I cannot get the cheat to work in any games. I did exactly what pureevil told me to do with no luck. This is what he said to do:

ok, take the one you do have and rename it key-68.d

than place that in the same directory I mention (c:\program files\dink smallwood\dink\story).

While playing a game, just press the letter d to bring up a menu.

I am trying to download it again to install it any advice would be great!

I don't know anything about programming, bu the only thing I can see is that you wrote key-68.d and the file in my directory is KEY-68.d

I don't know if capital letters make a difference, I only know that the Ultimate Cheat works for me.

P.S. - I only use the cheat program for speed when I have to travel long distances between islands. But it does work, except with patch C which makes the speed slow down to normal whenever you enter a screen with a save machine. I don't know why, but it does happen.

It is in caps, just don't know why it won't work. It used to.

I tried using Ultimate Cheat in this game (when I am fighting the Air Knight--blasted thing) and quickly realized that the C key, which used to give me the cheat menu in other games, only makes me drink a beer. You know what happens then.

It appears redink mapped the c key to do that for the express purpose of preventing you from using ultimate cheat. (bravo, I always feel guilty using it)

But I don't know how I'll beat that air knight without starting *way* over and leveling up to 10. AARGH
