two things: one, where is that guy that asks for the water spikes so i can get the axe? two, ive gotten to the machine in tware, but i cant actuly get TO it, do i need the axe to break in?

Move some furniture around in one of the houses and the machine has a button on the side of it.

i couldnt get any of the furnature to move around, but i hit the button, what happened?
