d.edit in windows?
one of the tutorials mentioned running the game in one window while the editor is in another to make editing the game easier, anyone know how to do that. Thanx                          Ric.
Re: d.edit in windows?
nope. allegedly you can run dinkedit and dink in unison and see your changes as you play. however i have no idea if this really does work and not totally screw over dink, and i have no idea how. i suppose if you wanna try, open dink and hit alt-tab, open dinkedit and use alt-tab to switch between the two.

Yeah, it works. Mostly. There are a few things to look out for though. First, if you add a new room, you'll have to exit and re-run dink to see it. Second, if you edit a room, you must exit back to the main screen in dinkedit, then (re)enter the room in dink. Also ALT+TABing seems to activate random commands in Dink. Mostly this won't do any harm, and if you're just testing your own d-mod it doesn't matter much anyway.

Also I don't know how much of this applys to WinDinkedit. I suppose as long as you press the save command it would work.
