: nope. allegedly you can run dinkedit and dink in unison and see your changes as you play. however i have no idea if this really does work and not totally screw over dink, and i have no idea how. i suppose if you wanna try, open dink and hit alt-tab, open dinkedit and use alt-tab to switch between the two.
Yeah, it works. Mostly. There are a few things to look out for though. First, if you add a new room, you'll have to exit and re-run dink to see it. Second, if you edit a room, you must exit back to the main screen in dinkedit, then (re)enter the room in dink. Also ALT+TABing seems to activate random commands in Dink. Mostly this won't do any harm, and if you're just testing your own d-mod it doesn't matter much anyway.
Also I don't know how much of this applys to WinDinkedit. I suppose as long as you press the save command it would work.
