mayors daughter

I had a problem with freezing after the mayors daughter calls for help. So I installed the patch, but now she's not even there.  How do I continue game play?  Is there another way to see the mayor, or bypass the guard?

You'll need to backtrack to a save game before you got the bow. (seems there was a variable mixup) if you don't have one, maybe the variable could be adjusted directly. Redink1 could probably provide you with details.
