Time To Die
Chapter 1- Moms Return
Dink had finished off his busy week by saving 5 towns and defeating the evil Seth. He got glory and praise and everything! He said to himself Wow, I wish every day would be like this! So he ran back home to his house (Currently half broken down from a kitchen-fire, but still livable) and lied down on the floor. The only part I dont wish, would be my mom dying in a fire... Dink sighed. He was still deeply depressed about the fire. He remembered how his mom always told him stories before he went to bed when he was young, and told stories of Dinks long-lost father and made him go feed the pigs when he was old. Oh the good old times. If only I could get my hands on whatever started that kitchen fire! So with that on his mind, and the world to himself, he went to bed that night.
The next morning, Dink woke up and yawned for what seemed like 20 minutes. He was still tired from all the heroic things he did the day before. He heard a voice from somewhere in the house. Dink...it wasnt a fire... He leapt to his feet and looked around. Dink...a fire did not kill me... Dink swore he was hearing things. It sounded just like his mom. I know who it was, Dink, I know who it was... This was creepy. He looked where the kitchen used to be. Mom! Dink ran to her but passed right through her. Oh, Dink...I am sorry, but I AM dead, but it wasnt a fire...it wasnt a fire... Dink jumped. His heart was beating fast. Mother, if it wasnt a fire, what was it? He waited for what seemed like hours. Your father Dink, your father... No way. Dink was not going to believe this. The stories of his father were happy and joyful, not sad and bad-spirited. But what about all the lovely stories you told me of father? Dink was starting to wonder about the possibilty of his father killing his own mother. They were all His mother stopped to shed a tear. Just lies to keep you thinking your father wasnt... Dink waited for a few moments while his mother shed another tear, but after a while he asked Wasnt what, mother? A criminal. He broke out of jail while you were collecting the nuts. I really...didnt...didnt She could go no longer. She started crying so much she wouldnt respond to Dink. Even though he had just gotten back from a quest, Dink knew he had to go on another one. His father must die.
