Freinds Beyond 1

I'm up to the part where I have to stop the girl getting back at the village. The old lady up in the mountains has told me to, but I can't get to the town because it's being blocked by some spell. I have the charm from the duck but don't know what to do with it - it won't get me past the block and the lady doesn't react to it. What do I do?

I assume you got the amulet from the girl before going in the mountains. That is strange that it won't let you out if you got in! Did you get the sword in the cave?? If all else fails you may want to downlad ultimate cheat and warp past the gate blocking you. lol

I can get in and out of the mountains fine, it's just getting into the village that's blocked by some red and blue magic. I got the charm from the duck after I spoke to the old lady. There was no sword in the cave, just a big yellow heart. I might have another look but I'm pretty sure there was only the heart. Strange.

You need to have the light sword and then the red and blue magic will disappear. There is ANOTHER cave behind the mage's house. The path is blocked by some rocks. You can push one to the side (from left to right, I believe).

I have another problem :P When I get into the underground caves in the village I can't seem to find the girl. In the town there were blood stains everywhere leading to the stairs so I imagine there must be something significant there. Any directions?

BTW, the walkthrough seems really strange. Nothing is where it says it is, and all quests in the wrong order.

You need to get the power glove to break the rocks leading to the girl. To get the glove use the charm the duck gave you and put it in the eye of the staue on the edge of a ledge in the cave. It will zap you above ground to get the glove out of a treasure chest. Sometimes it is a little sticky, just keep messing with the statue, talk to it and move around it. lol
