WinDinkedit importing?
Something funny happened to me when I was trying to import the screen of the inside of dinks house from the original to my d-mod and couldnt do it. I thought "gee that is weird". I tried importing some other screens from the original dink and they imported just fine. hmmm. I tried to import the screen of dinks house from the original again. "Didn't work, what a surprise." I imported a bunch of other screens. worked great. tried the dinks house, no such luck so here I am wondering what the hell is going on and if I'm just starting to hallucinate because of lack of sleep and the pain in my arse or if I am the only one with this "special" problem. so people check if you can import dink's house from the original game (top most and left most screen) and let me know what happens and pray It's not just me or I might need some counseling for D-mod making induced battle stress.

No problem when I did that for Crosslink. I use DinkEdit though. (Plus this was well before WinDinkEdit was released anyway.)

So you could try that program. (though importing in dinkedit is a pain too)

I did just test it in WinDinkEdit, and sure enough it doesn't work. I bet the problem is with screen one, rather then Dink's house itself, incase that gives you any ideas for a work-around.

The problem was with screen one, I copied it to a blank screen elsewhere on the original map and it imported fine after which I deleted the copy I made. It must just be screen one. Thanks.

Looks like I need to fix that, now all I need is some time to do it.  I haven't even touched the program all summer but I'll likely start up again once school starts (sounds odd but I think I'll actually have more time then, plus I actually have a job right now).  There's just too many distractions right now.
