more trouble with sob

hey guys, i still can't get dink to rescue mary at the end of story four...he keeps saying he's out of red rocks when actually there's a whole other bag in inventory. someone said you just have to go a certain route...if that's so, could someone maybe let me know what route that is somehow? i'd really like to move on to the next story. thanks!

I actually think you are out of red rocks even with the other bag showing. A bug in which only one bag gets deleted from the inventory even if you have two. Try using a saved game before you enter the Cliffs of Fire.

yeah i save, but i still can't get through and run out...any other suggestions?

If you can get to the second bag of red rocks in the fire islands then you can get to Mary. Once you have the bag work your way anti-clockwise around the islands moving outside then inside.

thanks for the tip, but i still run out of red rocks...i can't figure it out. i jumped around w/ translocation a bit outside the fire pit early in the game b/c i didn't think the bag would run out of rocks--could that be the problem? let me know so i can *hopefully* move on. thanks!

Once you've got the second bag of red rocks go to edge of that island, translocate left and then left again. Then translocate down, then right, then up, then right and you should be one right translocate away from Mary.
