i goofed big time

you know how you can edit the map and do stuff?

well in the story, i was warning everybody about the parade , and before i continued with that, i edited the duck sanctuary so i could go in get the potions and kill some ducks. i realized i stopped that famine TOO SOON because when i did that, i went back to the story line and did the goblin thing, then i found out i was THEN supposed to do the famine story line but i can't because i've killed all the ducks before i was supposed to, and i have the nifty Dink Smallwood statue instead of the duck... but they are suffereing from the famine!!! how can i got back before i altered everything?  ACK!!!!!

am i totally out of luck?

Okay, just make a file called key-191.c in the dink/story directory and put this in it:



// / Key

void main( void )

{

 &story = 11;

 say("Story is now &story.", 1);

}



Start up Dink and press the "/" (slash) key. That should bring you back up the the right part of the story. Make sure you delete the file afterwards so you don't activate it by mistake and cause a similar proble later on.



PS. I hope you learned a valuable lesson from this. :p
