: Thank you Ace for your earlier help & I tried doing what you said - got the gift from the duck & have tried presenting it to the statue with the golden eyes over & over, but no luck. I've tried selecting the gift from the inventory but that doesn's seem to work, & I've tried using the fist but that doesn't work either. Is the statue supposed to talk when I hit the space bar, because I can't get it to talk. I know you said it's tricky, but I just can't get past this point. I even tried re-starting the game thinking I'd missed something. The only clue in the game is what the bookshelf says in the goblin-like house. I'd really appreciate your help with this! I'm not sure what is happening. Did you get the walkthru. Seems like you could have missed something. If you downloaded Ultimate cheat, you may want to go above ground and warp into the little area next to the houses where the chest is sitting, that's where the statue sends you to bust the chest and get the power glove - lol ;)

Thank you! I downloaded the ultimate cheat & it did the trick. I don't know why I didn't do that earlier. Thank you again.
