HEELLLPPP!! again DOH!

OK so i found the walkthru. it says to check the brown spots in the room when you fought the giant slime the use the rune then you will turn into a slime. WELL why is it not working? please help me!

Did you touch the lastings of the slime, brown spots there where you killed it? If yes press and you should see a pic of a grey bonca and a slime. Use the arrow keys to change what you will transform into. Wait the magic to charge up, and presss shift. You should turn into slime.
