Site News: Standardized Review Scoring System

The Dink Network now has color bars and a standardized review scoring system setup. What in the blazes heck does this mumbo-jumbo mean? Read the comments.

9.0 - 9.9: Exceptional

7.0 - 8.9: Good

5.0 - 6.9: Fair

3.0 - 4.9: Tolerable

0.0 - 2.9: Horrible

So what does this mean? It means that people should be able to tell what files are good and what are bad, and reviewers should have an easier time reviewing files, now that they know the review scoring system. Before it was completely arbitrary, now it is a little less so.

It also means an end to personal review scoring systems, which Uber Reviewers have been doing, ala DethLord and IceMan, who both used systems similar to that common with schools.

So future reviews should follow these guidelines, but existing reviews won't be invalidated because of it.
