Discussion Three : Review this!

Some of you may have already seen an extra comment line in their still-to-be-validated review that I inserted to point out some flaws in the review. After they are changed I have always validated it. Unfortunately, there are many that do not get through my (high??) standards and are therefor invalidated. Go to the comments section for the rest!

What's a good review? What needs to be in it? Let me give you a few examples of what will NOT be accepted :

"Hey Redink, are you reading this review? I just wanted to tell you I like your d-mod!" --> Reviews are not a means of communicating with the staff!

"Good d-mod, nice plot, great graphics, beautiful sound, play it! 9.9!!" --> Discuss this!

"I couldn't boot this d-mod! 0.1!!" --> Then don't write a review!

"I really love this d-mod and I would like a sequel! PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE!!! 9.9" --> Ask the author.

The point of a review is telling others your opinion by looking into several aspects of the d-mod. Then there's the example that has the --> Discuss line. It does exactly what it should, but is this enough? Do you think 1, 2 or 3 lines of review are enough? What needs to be in a review to make it worth your while?
