Deleting D-Mods: An Alternative

I've been thinking about the deletion of D-Mods after reading all of the news and messages while I was gone, and I believe I have come up with a viable alternative that should please everyone. Read the comments if you want to read more.

Authors want their D-Mods removed from the database for a few possible reasons:

1) They score under 3.0, and therefore cause negative points.

2) They are currently re-writing a D-Mod, and do not want the old, crappy version up.

However, deleting D-Mods screws other people over too. How?

1) When deleting a D-Mod, all of the reviews must be deleted too. This sucks, as people sometimes write good reviews for bad files, and their effort is for naught.

2) Without seeing the worst D-Mods every created, people can't really review files as well.

So my suggestion is to never delete another D-Mod. Instead, create a new Category called 'Neglected Files' or something similar. Files in that category will have the benefit of never removing (or adding) any points, and they would be out-of-the-way so most sane people wouldn't play them. People could still review them too.

So, how does that sound?
