Hey guys does anyone know how I can get a job/internship/whatever in the gaming industry? Do I have to be a computer science or computer games programming major? Thanks

Daniel, there are clowns.
There are a lot of different ways... programming is just one of them. As I am lazy, I would tell you to google your question as there are a plenty of articles out there that could give you details on the various routes much more eloquently than I could.

From what little I have seen, the industry is so new that degrees/diplomas might not mean as much as work examples you have already done.
Getting a degree is the best starting point, then if a company sees you doing professional grade work, they may 'poach' you, offering you a wage based on what you have recently accomplished. Dink is not a bad place to get started, you just have to put yourself out there and be part of something. If c is your thing, mabey try working on a library of functions. You will be known for accomplishing something, and you will gain perfect knowledge of that lib. Just make sure your best work can be seen on the internet with your name on it. ( if applicable.)
