You probably need more strength. Kill some pillbugs until you level up and choose to increase attack. Might need to level up twice, I can't remember off hand.

It is much more appropriate to post questions about a game or d-mod in the particular file section for each one. You're also much more likely to receive help that way.
I've seen posts from Tal today, and I'm surprised he hasn't moved this thread to the proper place. Maybe he's drunk and naked again.

I suggest you level up a few times in strength, as you then have to try and kill the bonca.

have you actually been in martridges house i think that triggers it.
